Flaps retract warning

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Curious if there is any gauge providing warning sound "when at the damage speed the flaps are not fully retracted". Lately I am forgetting to retract flaps when I should; and need help to tap me on the shoulder:)

Any help much appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Peter

Looking in the library for a search on flaps I didn't come across anything.

What plane are you flying? In a commercial plane like a 737 there is a flap schedule indication on the PFD, but that's only for something like the PMDG 737. For other aircraft, and providing they have it, I look at my angle of attack and judge when I should add or retract a flap.

same here, did not come across anything while searching. Was hoping for some warning sound, (similar to the gear down warning when flaps retracted to certain degree) but no luck. Ref your q: Have many flyable aircraft Airbuses, Boeings, Embraer's also a fleet of vintage aircraft. The flap retract warning would be great for all.

Thanks again

Peter
