Prostock Posted September 16, 2018 Share Posted September 16, 2018 FSX-SE Windows 10 - I downloaded KLAX Airport today from Rikoooo.com & took a look around. Great scenery but was a bit disappointed at the lack of AI and activity around the airport, I only say one 747 parked off runway. I have my settings on Full 100% of everything with good frame rates. My question: Is there an AI download available that will populate all airports or selective airports? I have not found any and don't know where else to look. But a lot of their flight plans are in FS2004 format so you'll need to convert the plans to FSX format with AIFP. I wouldn't crank the AI slider all the way to the right though. 45%-50% is good enough. Go to the library and search for aifp2121.zip Enter KLAX. http://www.world-of-ai.com/airports.php OOM errors? Downloaded WOAI woains24.zip from HERE: http://www.world-of-ai.com/allpackages.php Downloaded the one DATED: 13 DEC 2006. Went to http://www.world-of-ai.com/airports.php and entered KLAX Search took me to this result: 77 packages visiting KLAX : (Click the link to go to the package page) Clicked on Delta Airlines: That took me to this page: http://www.world-of-ai.com/allpackages.php#Delta%20Air%20Lines Decided just to try COLBOLT so Downloaded Release Date 27 JULY 2017 AVSIM Clicked & Opened WAOI Installer. Followed directions within readme file which is the same as IL88 posted. Got to step 4 and got the dreaded RED X - I tried to post a picture but can't make the file small enough. It reads as follows: UNHANDLED EXCEPTION HAS OCCURRED IN YOUR APPLICATION. IF YOU CLICK CONTINUE. THE APPLICATION WILL IGNORE THIS ERROR AND ATTEMPT TO CONTINUE. IF YOU CLICK QUIT THE APPLICATION WILL CLOSE. I clicked Continue: Cursor just spins and spins. I let it spin for an hour then closed the application. ERROR ALSO READS: Could not load file or assembly. 'IC SharpCode. SharpZipLib. Version=0.84.0 Culture=neutral PublicKeyToken=1b03e6acf1164f73' or one of it's dependencies. I had no idea I even had it. As for the rest of this post..... Problem has been resolved thanks for String Bean. I was trying to use the Installer from the zip file and didn't know I had to move it to a folder of it's own........ Learning more and more every day thanks to you Super Great Guys in this group. Providing that airport is payware that is. Reason being is that you want enough parking space for all your AI. And like I already said, keep your AI slider to 45%-50%. So far I've added 20 Airlines to my FSX-SE - Some airports like KBOS & KJFK have added quite a few on the ground Planes, all parked at gates or just parked. I will adjust the sliders as I install more airlines to help with congestion. I did notice the longer I say in place at one airport the more activity. It takes some time to see movement.
