I am considering to upgrade to desktop, these are the specs:

ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 ROG STRIX OC - 8GB GDDR5 RAM - Grafikkort

ASUS PRIME H310-PLUS Bundkort - Intel H310 - Intel LGA1151 socket - DDR4 RAM - ATX

Intel Core i7-8086K Limited Edition Coffee Lake CPU - 4 GHz - Intel LGA1151 - 6 cores - Intel Boxed

be quiet! Dark Rock 3 CPU Køler - Luftkøler - Max 21 dBA

G.Skill TridentZ RGB DDR4-2400 C15 DC - 16GB

Kingston SSDNow A400 SSD - 240GB

Seagate BarraCuda 3.5" ST1000DM010 Harddisk - 1 TB - 3.5" - 7200 rpm - SATA-600 - 64 MB cache

NZXT S340 - Black - Kabinet - Miditower - Sort

Corsair VS Series VS650 Power supply - 650 Watt - 120 mm - 80 Plus White certified

Arctic F12 Cabinet cooler - 120 mm - 22 dBA

ASUS PCE-AC56

As you can see it is gtx1070 video card.

Which monitor would do the job? Does it have to be Gsync? Thinking about the budget, I am going to invest alot on that computer and I want to use 144 hz instead of pure gsync - what do you guys think, should I invest more to the monitor?

No. Gsync is a flash in the pan. Better to search out a monitor that will run at 30 hz as well as 60...
