FSX transparent bands on one monitor but fine on another

To add:

This problem does not occur in the problematic monitor in full screen mode - solely windowed mode

 

Restore your `problem` monitor to default settings and your FSX settings to default.

That's a unique problem there and once you eliminate `operator error` you can establish whether the monitor is on its way out...

That 'problem monitor' is probably not in its native resolution, or perhaps its native resolution is low. Or perhaps it's set for too few colors.

Looks like the interlacing is being interrupted. If not an inadvertent setting perhaps it's a simple setting. But firstly I'd explore the things I suggest.

Also show the FSX.cfg settings.
