shadowfaxcrx Posted July 19, 2018 Share Posted July 19, 2018 I've got taxiways z-fighting in the southwest. Default scenery. FSX Gold. Win10. KABQ and KSKX are two examples if you want to see for yourself. KABQ, it almost looks like they dropped the taxiways on the airport twice and now they're fighting with each other and looking like a glitch in the matrix. KSKX looks more like the taxiway is z-fighting with the ground near the hold line for rwy 4, and also with the runway at either end. Any quick fixes to this? shadowfaxcrx Posted July 19, 2018 Author Share Posted July 19, 2018 I'm not sure it would really help, since z-fighting is a flicker caused by two textures flipping dominance from one frame to the next and so it won't really show up in still grabs. If so, you have 3 options. 1) turn off DX10 (not my recommendation) 2) go to Avsim and download https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=185080 Installing those shaders will fix many of the DX-10 bug-a-boos 3) the author of the above fix has a payware product that goes far beyond the free fix in utilizing DX10.
