Unhappy Help! What happened to my color textures for Cessna172 in FSX? How to get them back?

Last night, I wanted to fly the red and gold Cessna 172, but found that it was only white. Also, all the cessna 172s were white. No color textures. What happened? Can I get the colors back?

If you click on the red/gold or any other colored C-172 picture in the Select Aircraft screen and then choose details does the aircraft only show as white? Are you using a saved flight or creating a brand new flight or are you changing planes while in a flight?

Here is a long thread from a few years ago explaining what is wrong with the way the C-172 folder was done and why there is a "white" C-172 problem.

I am using Free Flight, and not using a saved flight. Also, I tried selecting red/gold, then selecting details. The C172 showed white. I'll read the string from long ago. Thanks.
