CRJ_simpilot
Between the P-51 and the more modern and present King Air, those would have to be my most favorite props. My most Fav jets would have to me the Messerschmitt Me 262 and the F-22 Raptor of which I fly almost exclusively now a days. It's nice flying mach 2.35 at 1,500 MPH ground speed and at FL500. LOL OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk? An awesome weather website with oodles of Info. and options. Wile E. Coyote would be impressed. Downwind66
Jan - Those are absolutely beautiful! Nothing beats the looks and the sound of a P51! I love to go in on YouTube and either pull up P51 video's or catch them on some of the Sun and Fun Fly In Lakeland, Florida, Dayton Airshow, or Oshkosh Fly In videos on YouTube. I know a guy in Fremont, Ohio, had one at his airport on the westside of town. He could ill afford the fuel that this thing drank, so I believe he only cranked it up for a quick spin once a year! I believe he flew them in WWII. That to me would be hard to do, to look at that "bad boy" day in and day out, only allowing yourself 1 flight a year! True torture! They are very special in my opinion! - Rick

liner simpilot
Great looking ponies. Planes of Fame several yrs ago dedicated the P-51's, so they had 12 up in air playing follow the leader. Very impressive to see & hear 12 V16 Merlins humming in the skies. Kenny
