Need help with aircraft "year of manufacture" description for photo caption

I am seeking suggestions on how to properly describe the year of manufacture for our Beechcraft Twin Bonanza, in a caption below a photo of the airplane. I think I have seen captions as simple as, Year:1961.Or Year Built: 1961. Or perhaps in books or literature in this format. Year of Mnftr. 1961 But, not sure if that is proper.

Also, if someone can tell me the proper abbreviation for "manufacture" that would be helpful. I don't think I have it spelled correctly here and I can't seem to find it in online dictionaries. Time to pick up an old fashioned dictionary like we had up until the time that the internet was invented. Open to all suggestions. Thank you.
