JonBuck
Suddenly all my instrument panels have become transparent...I can see runway surfaces and the ground right through them. I must have hit some button or something but I can't find the right one! Driving me nuts! Any ideas on what I might have done to cause this, or how to get the panels back to their proper state??? Any and all help appreciated!!! JonB
PAULCRAIG
Have you checked your FSX settings for panel transparency?
mrzippy
Have you checked your FSX settings for panel transparency? +1 FSX/Settings/Customize/Aircraft it has to do with 2D panel transparency. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
JonBuck
Ah Ha!!! So that's what I did! Somehow I must of run the bar all the way over to the right and made the thing transparent, but wasn't aware of what I was doing!! Thanks for the tip...I never even noticed that sliding bar! Chalk it up to another "Senior Moment"!!!! Many thanks...you've come to my rescue once again and I'm grateful!! JonB :o
Rupert
Hey Jon, I usually set my 2D panel to around 40-50% transparency. So I can see the gauges and also see the runway as I'm on an approach, even nose high. As a RW chopper guy I was used to always seeing out the windshield and the gauges as well. This 50% compromise allows me to do the same thing. ;) Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
