Default Dedicated to the Aircraft companies

I thought this might be different instead of classic airlines, is to display various aircraft's in house color's. This is dedication to test pilots that test flew these Experimental aircraft's so we can fly them to our destinations around the world. I took off at the test pilots airports and returned to same airports. Enjoy my postings, Kenny

A fine idea to showcase the various birds in house liveries Kenny. Nice work.

Another story from my early days working at EGCC Manchester, I was on the crew loading a Wardiar Boeing 707, during the loading we noticed smoke coming from a bag that was on the truck of luggage to be loaded.
Course we removed it and called the airline rep, his nickname was Biggles but that is another story. Any way we got the passenger who's bag it was to come down to the apron, it was a lady, she had the keys to unlock it, it turned out she had some matches in the bag and somehow they had ignited.
They had ruined a few of her clothes but the flame had gone out probably due to lack of oxygen.
also the pilot came down too and he thanked us for our actions, but Biggles the company rep took all the credit, somehow he kind of worded it that it was him that spotted the smoke and isolated the bag.
Wardair a few years later got taken over by Canadian Airlines in 1989, I used to have photo of myself and a workmate with a Wardair 707 in the background, wish I still had it.

This is at EGCC Manchester, not my photo.

Amazing stories Col, I have enjoyed reading them all. You lived in fascinating times, as this was a great generation in aviation, the aircraft's & airlines no matter where were from. What happened to your pic? That would have been a great piece of your history. As for Mr. Biggles, there is always someone that takes the credit when they don't deserve it, but you know who should get the credit. If you should come up with some more info please pass it on I think there would be more readers out there that would enjoy reading them. Kenny
