How can I find and correspond with other simmers in my city?

Hello - I am new to FlightSim.com and would like to find other flight simmers in my city to correspond with, and perhaps meet up with in person, in order to receive help with setting up a new PC, software, etc. Any information on how to do this in the forums will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Well, one good way is actually say where you are from. That's always a good starting point.

My condolences! You could also add that to your signature. Growing up in the Los Angeles area in the early 50s, I remember the occasional Sunday drive to Bakersfield and a stop at the Carnation Ice cream restaurant that was near the Ice Cream plant for lunch. Best milk shakes anywhere in SoCal!
