Some Maintenance Both for EBBR (Brussels, Belgium) and my Boeing 737/200 ;-)

Recommended Posts

Hi!

No flight this week for my independent small airline flying a Boeing 737-200 from Brussels, Belgium EBBR! :) Some maintenance instead as I wonder whether I didn't find a way to improve the rendering of tarmacs and runways with a tweak of textures or with better grass texture too! On the other hand, I have also improved my Boeing 737-200 reflection (albeit tuned a very low one) and nose (with some more vortex generators, I think, drawn here like lines) :) Maybe for perfectionists only :)

Looks like EBBR blending better into landscape

Asphalt runways looks much darker as I also tweaked asphalt taxiways

Tarmac concrete turned with some yellowish hue

Better blending again

Some light, better reflection on my Boeing 737-200

… as I also improved the nose (vortex generators I also drawn on the wings like they should) -- not pictured here)

Perfectionists I had warned you :)

Thanks Larry! I found that a little by chance indeed! And now I have well advanced with the varied European airports to/from which I'm flying with the Boeing 737-200. That's mostly a question of grass texture and of a darker runway asphalt hue. For the rest, I just work with Google Maps and e-aip terrain charts. That should soon be over now!

I don't still really know if I will make that available like a freeware, or like a tutorial on my site

Thanks Rupert. Like said on the other thread, it's just a question of finding something which pleases me when I fly! And such tweaks are luckily not beyond my abilities. Cheers
