DC-6 "AESA" From Miami to El Salvador (FSX)

Talking about the oil, When I worked on the ramp you had to be careful you didn't get any oil on your skin especially if it went in your eyes, if it did you were rushed to the fire station where they treated you with eye washes.

It burnt your skin so you can imagine getting it in your eyes it could blind you, it is called SKYDROL, as far as I know it is still used today.

Beautiful shots Jan!! And yes, some of my favorite memories of the old Marine Corps Ch-34s and HH-37s was the smell burning oil by those radial engines!!

Jan,

 

I agree with Adam. Any pilot that can land a Peerhoven flight and have the entire aircraft stay dry deserves an atta boy!! So who was your pilot? ;)
