KLM flight 212 is a Convair CV-240 on a flight from Bremen to Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport (EDDW - EHAM). We have 300 gallons of fuel on board for the 153 nm flight of about one hour and five minutes. We will experience moderate to light cloud cover while cruising at 12,000 feet.

10. We crossed into the Netherlands some time ago and are descending through 7,500 feet a bit north of the city of Kampen, We see the IJssel River below.

12. We are down to 3,000 feet and heading out over Markermeer Lake with the city of Almere off our left wing.

14. About 11 nm from Schiphol Airport we turn to intercept our approach to runway 22.

I was 5 years old at that time (and already a pretty noble and young intellectual of course) I remember these Convairs very well. EHAM has changed completely over the years but the old control tower still exists. Awesome retro-flight once more my friend! :cool::cool::cool::pilot:
