KLM flight 212 is a Convair CV-340 on a short early morning flight from Hanover to Hamburg (EDDV - EDDH). We have 200 gallons of fuel on board for the 71 nm flight of about 23 minutes. We have good weather with moderate high cloud cover and we will be cruising at an altitude of 5,000 feet.

1. Passengers boarded, we are buttoned up and starting number one.

2. Taxiing out to runway 27 for departure.

3. We are airborne and retracting the gear.

5. About 10 nm from Hanover at our cruising altitude.

6. Cruising near the city of Soltau a bit less than halfway to Hamburg.

7. Passing the town of Jesteburg below our right wing.

8. Descending through 3,500 feet and turning to intercept our approach to runway 5 at Hamburg.

9. Flaps 40 and gear down we are passing over the northern suburbs of Hamburg about 4 nm from the airport.

10. Lined up on short final and have added more throttle because we were sinking a bit too fast.
