Flanker251
Hi, I ecperience a strange problem when I re-select the same aircraft in FSX. The aircraft displays a kind of weird stretched while at the first time all the proportions of the aircarft looked as they should do. AFAIK this counts for all aircraft but it's ore obvious to see with the heavy ones. Until so far my only remedy is to restart FSX SP2 again. Does anybody know a fix or tweak for this anomality? I use a 16:9 monitor and a NVidia GefOrce GTX 760. My FSX cfg has WideViewAspect=True and Mode=1920x1080x32. Many thanks in advantage for replying. mrzippy
Can I assume you are referring to an outside "locked spot" view when you see this stretching? Try hitting CTRL+Spacebar to see if the stretched image corrects itself. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Flanker251
Thanks for replying mrzippy. It's indeed the outside view I was referring to. VC and 2D panels always show correctly. Did a quick test with your appointed key-strokes (CTRL+Spacebar) and yes that solves the issue. So thank you very much! Still it bothers me why the stretching happens, might be some wrong caching of graphics by FSX. Anyhows your workaround is much better than mine was.
