    Default RTW Retro Flight #86 Bordeaux to Paris . . . 1963

    Air France flight 509 is a Vickers Viscount 700 on an early morning flight from Bordeaux Merignac to Paris Le Bourget (LFBD - LFPB). We have 750 imperial gallons of fuel on board for the 278 nm flight of about one hour and thirty five minutes. Moderate cloud cover is reported and we will be cruising at an altitude of 15,000 feet.
