il88pp
Got me the Redux 3D lights. Before installing I took the time to first back up all my aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg files. Including Light sections. I had put a lot of time into those, so I wanted backups. I'm glad I did. The shockwave install overwrites all default aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg files with default files. (It makes backups of what you had. But restoring what you had is much easier if you make your own backups beforehand. I read somewhere that a few default lighteffects would also be overwritten. (or at least the effect's textures would.) So I made backups of those 2 as well. After restoring my configs, and copying the shockwave sections to those files, they looked great. Maybe did a few edits to the lights, to tie them to different switches only. Many other default planes I had never adjusted the lights. So there I could copy the shockwave sections straight into the old file. Result! The night look has improved dramatically. Was well worth it!:o:p:o:p:o Have Fun! il.
