Weather for FSX Steam edition question

I use FSX:SE and for that I use FSRealWX Lite. Works great. FSRealWX works even better. Both are great, and, more importantly to my mind, they're free. I'm a broke, cheap SOB.

Frugal, that is. VERY frugal...

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

I have ASN next 2016 and Steam edition FSX. Works just fine for me.

Wait!

ASN = Active Sky Next - Can be used with FS2004 and FSX Boxed/Steam

ASN next = No such thing.

AS 2016 = Can be used with FSX Boxed/Steam/P3D if the proper license is purchased.

If you mean FSRealWX, it's sort of like FSUIPC. The demo version is free, and you can keep using it as long as you like, just like the way FSUIPC works. I have a demo version I downloaded back in December of '14, and it still works fine. Just like FSUIPC, if you don't pay, a lot of the features don't work, but the basics function just as though you payed.

So, essentially, it's freeware. I am just missing out on some features I probably wouldn't use anyway. No great loss, in my little pea-brain.

Have fun!
