Generally, airliners today (and some others, too) which cross major oceans (Atlantic, Pacific, etc.) carry a form of satellite communications to keep in touch with the company and/or ATC, thus no longer being out of touch or requiring HF radios to keep in touch. When I looked at it and broke the words down (my grade school teacher taught us that), I said maybe SAT is for Satellite and COMM must mean communications. Oh okay, communication by satellite, makes sense to me, but, why include this in a freeware flight sim download? Consider this in the trash can, I'm not crossing the ocean in a freeware download or anything else that I can think of!
