josepabloply
Hello everyone! It's been a while since I like to create and edit textures of all kinds of aircraft in MFS2004. I use DTXBMP as my software of transforming textures and I edit them with paint or Photoshop. The problem is that I've never known how to make them look with a high quality. They always look very blurry on the simulator. I would like to know how can I make them look better. Any Suggestions? The textures always end up weighting 1,33 MB. I don't really know much about how the different types of BMP work. Greetings.
PAULCRAIG
For sharper & best quality textures, save bmp's in "Extended 32bit 888-8" format, also make sure that in the mipmaps section of DXTbmp that "include when saving" is unchecked. ScouserLFC
Hi I am not sure if it works with complete repaints, but whenever I have renumbered aircraft, to stop the blurring, save as Extended bmp and make sure the box under Mipmaps, "Include when saving" is unticked, it certainly works with numbers and lettering.
