[Aug. 19] Canadian Xpress August Fly-In - Kelowna Run

The Edmonton to Kelowna run in our early years of FlightSim use to be a Friday Night staple in the FS community. With its old offset and back course approaches, it really tested a virtual pilot’s skill. Years has pasted since then, and Kelowna has seen number of upgrades, which include removing the offset and back course approaches, we all loved so much.

This month, we relive that flight from all those years ago, even without that crazy mountain approach it’s still an exciting trip to make. Kelowna can handle aircraft up to B737 in size, and WestJet makes daily trips on this route using their fleet of Q400s.

Canadian Xpress would like to invite all pilots & virtual airlines to join us on Saturday, August 19th at 10h00edt (14h00z) and 21h00edt (Sunday 01h00z) for our August 2017 fly-in where we will fly from Edmonton (CYEG) to Kelowna (CYLW).

This is an open invitation to all pilots no matter what your flying experience to attend this Canadian Xpress event that will be flown on the VATSIM network.
