I have been search for the same post/thread here and still found no solution for me. This is recently (just about few days ago) happened to me, it never happened before. I Fly with Feelthere ERJ 145LR from KORD to CYYC (default airport), but FSX suddenly crash and restart when descend - approach. I have so many flight hours with this addon plane, so i bet, the addon (and hardware) should have not the issue.
