Problems with autopilot stability

The most prominent aircraft to display this issue is the fs9 Baron 58. The aircraft will not follow a stable course. It circles around. I'm hoping that someone will have a solution.

This particular aircraft won't stay on course when the autopilot is engaged. After a short period when the HDG or NAV command is entered, the compass card on the HSI begins to rotate around 180 degrees, but it won't stabilize. All of the aircraft in my collection other than the MS Baron don't manifest this peculiar behavior. Any help is welcome.

I suspect a corrupt or incorrect line in the aircraft.cfg; the AP gets data from the indicators, if any of these have been set to "none" there is no reference for that axis.

 

These are pertinent lines from the default file:
