reed0427
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/reed0427/texture_zps8uxhnmmf.jpg I've been creating textures for years. Recently though I have run into a problem. After I change a texture, I save it as an extended 32 bit 888-8 using DXTBmp. Normally this works just fine. Since I reinstalled FS2004 though, I've been unable to get my custom textures to show. I've tried saving them as DXT3 or DXT5 but the result is the same- no texture. Anyone have any ideas? I'm running Windows 8.1. Like I said, I never had a problem until I reinstalled FS9.
tgibson_new
First, try a new install of DXTBmp, perhaps it's corrupted. Second, have you tried saving a texture (temporarily) in 256 color format directly from your paint program and checking that in the sim? Perhaps Windows is not allowing altered bitmaps to display in the sim. Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com

reed0427
You are a genius! I deleted DXTBmp and reinstalled with a fresh download. Problem solved! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/reed0427/sevenseasdc8_zpsfsv7nk2k.jpg
