Aircraft Carriers

How can I add an aircraft carrier to the FS9 airport database?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Carriers are handled like any airport; once in place, with ID, etc., they should appear in the list ...though sometimes they are listed in a country and sometimes as separate entities.

If I understand you correctly you want to add AI carriers to the sim.......

 

There are a number of files in the file library here at FlightSim - an advanced search using the phrase AI Carriers or simply Carriers should find them.

 

One comprehensive file that I know of for FS2004 is called carr2006.zip - again search for it in the file library. It includes a number of carriers at various set locations around the world.

 

In most cases the files will include install instructions but basically the files included with such items are the same as standard scenery files and, as such, will need to be added as normal scenery is. Some, however, may include additional files (such as effects or even AI flight plans) which will need to be placed as per any instructions given

I have installed all the carriers but when trying to set up a flight plan it says that the carrier cannot be found in the airport database'
