Founder Nels_Anderson Posted May 31, 2017 Founder Share Posted May 31, 2017 OK, this one is bugging me and looking through the settings I cannot find an answer. After using the hat to shift my view around I would like to be able to return to a "default" view setting, centered looking straight ahead. You'd think there would be a key for that, but if there is I cannot find it. Anyone know what it is? I've played around with the keys that are supposed to control views and I don't think they work properly. Or at least the descriptions of what they do don't seem to match with what I think they mean...

Founder Nels_Anderson Posted May 31, 2017 Author Founder Share Posted May 31, 2017 Delete? Well, that's less that intuitive, given where it's located on my keyboard. I'll give it a try next time I fly. Thanks!
PhantomTweak
I can't speak to FSW but if their key commands are anything like the FSX defaults... I am pretty sure the FSX default is CTRL+SPACE. It's what I've always used, and it works every time for me. I've made very few changes in the default key assignments, and when I looked, it was in the list as default, sooooo... Good flying to you! Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! hovercrafter
ditto - although the assignment might still be the same for a Lua script or something. Gordon
andyjohnston
Yes, use the default of Ctrl+Space. Delete resets view if you have zoomed in. Spent way too much time using these sims...
