China cargo to Atlanta.

Recommended Posts

Just wondering, what interests do they have in Atlanta! And yes, it was intended for another forum but I accidentally posted it here, so I just left it! And no, it doesn't bother me, I was just curious! Is there an auto manufacturing plant there that uses parts made in East Asia?

KATL being the busiest airport in the nation and world plays a part. There are 2 flights in to Atl for China Cargo. I understaand they also contract for DHL both directions and Im sure that has something to do with it as well. Hope this helps.

Porsche has a new plant right there on the east side of KATL (Old Ford Plant), BMW has a plant up in Greenville-Spartanburg, SC, and KIA has a plant at West Point, GA (SW of KATL) I imagine there is some cargo destined for there. Then there is Wal-Mart distribution centers all over the SE area dealing with chinese-made products (Not meant to be judgemental, just what I see in the stores)
