Centurion over Colorado

Recommended Posts

Took the Carenado Cessna T210M Centurion on a flight over the Rockies from Pueblo (KPUB) to Montrose (KMTJ). Cruising at 18,000 was no problem for the turbocharged Centurion.

Great David!

I always breathe a sigh of relief when the gear is down!! I remember once flying for a, then $50 lunch, in my friend's Model 35 Bonanza. Gear went down but we didn't get the locked indication. The airport had no tower, but did have a FBO. So we radioed and asked for a "visual" on a low level pass

A really old guy, even older than I am now, wobbled out of the hanger and raised his binoculars. He declared the gear looked "down," but don't bet on it.

We landed, and the gear held. Post flight inspection found a bad gear locked bulb. Neither of us really calmed down to enjoy that lunch!

Michael

Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
