The Simvation Schweizer 2-33

Hi All,

I started downloading aircraft yesterday but couldn't find a Schweizer 2-33 trainer in the files section here. I managed to find one on a different website, here:

Together with the California thermals scenery by Alejandro Villa:

The machine I'm using these on has no AV protection but no problems so far, the plane is a joy to fly and the thermals are abundant, the biggest navigation challenge is to exit as you come up to 11,000' MSL. It's a nice way to sight-see, perhaps I like it because I get several opportunities to memorize the scenery I am over as I circle inside rising air.

Oh, my father first learned to fly in a 2-33 before he transitioned to Cessna 150s to learn SEL.

'Glichy' controls or switches and don't want to pay for new ones? Read on... You can bring a controller back to life by exercising it through it's full range of motion or from maximum to minimum and back again 50 times. I had a Logitech joystick that gave left rudder without touching it but turning it 50X fixed it.

Ridge and thermal soaring is the nearest we'll get to flying like an eagle, don't you think?

I like to take break myself now and then with a bit of soaring, I can always find something interesting to mess with at these two websites (if you didn't know about them already!):

Well no, I didn't know about them, but I'll sure have a thorough look. Flying the 2-33 seems very natural to me, almost effortless.

I was just waxing poetic to a friend about my ride in a 911 when dad was learning to fly gliders. As it turns out, we have this in our files section:

I recently won "U.S.A. Roads" for FS 2004, too.

Have fun :)
