ghembree
Objective to fly with use of fmc and reasonably similar to what you would do in real aircraft. Is it possible to do this with universal fmc or must I purchase payware 777 with fmc and once I purchase payware 777 will it be necessary to buy lots of other products to go with this item, otherwise you just have 777 that you cannot land? mrzippy
Rather than buying an aircraft you may not want just to get a usable FMC, have you Google Searched for a payware FMC that can be installed into an aircraft of your choice? Example: http://emarciano.free.fr/En/index.htm Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Garciamk4
Another thing you may want to try I believe its Freeware is Vas FMC http://c-aviation.net/vasfmc-freeware-fmc-for-fsx/ Like any other Guages ect ect you must edit your Panel.cfg file You can add it Manually (Instructions on how to do this is on their page) Or you can use Panel Studio to accomplish this. Features: .MCDU (Multifunction Control Display Unit) – a keyboard with a small screen – data entry and display. .FCU (Flight Control Unit) – altitude, speed and autopilot mode selectors (among others). .ND (Navigation Display). .PFD (Primary Flight Display) – where your speed, altitude, heading and attitude indicator are displayed. .UECAM (Upper Electronic Centralised Aircraft Monitor) – engine data, fuel, flap indicator, warnings and alerts. .LECAM (Lower Electronic Centralised Aircraft Monitor) – spoilers, trim and controls indicator… Its not difficult to do it Manually I've done it numerous of times just make sure to backup your original Panel.cfg before editing it. ViperPilot2
Eric's EasyFMC is very nice, and comes with an "Installer" that will load the FMC into any airplane. I would suggest going to the Link Zip posted, and read the Documentation just to be sure it's going to do everything you want it to. Personally, it's $20 well spent. kingm56
First, if you want to fly the 777 close to real-world ops, I highly recommend the PMDG 777. However, if you attend to fly a large number of freeware aircraft, highly recommend Ernie Alston's ISG1 avionics suite. It is, without question, the best addon FMC (etc) you can buy. http://secure.simmarket.com/ernie-alston-integrated-simavionics-group-1-(isg1).phtml
