Very Unusual Water Reflections

How do I fix this weird white stuff in the water? It never happens during day, only evening, night, and early morning.

It does look a little different then mine, but I think this is simply reflection from the sun shining on the water. You see it most when looking into the rising or setting sun.

 

Something that can help is fswaterconfigurator. freeware. have their own site for downloading the software.

 

You can adjust the water reflections in all kind of ways.It has a few presets (I like "Orion's settings") but you can also make the adjustments yourself.

I think the specular reflections are what causes this effect, and reducing those will get rid of it.

 

It doesn't run in the background all the time, just when setting it up. Then you just fly with the adjustments you have chosen automatically each time.

You can adjust them a bit more later by running it again.

I have FS Water Configurator, but what setting would I need to get the white stuff away, while still retaining amazing water graphics?

I think you need to reduce the horizontal reflections. Find your own balance.
