Jim Robinson
Beautiful shots & flight Scott, I never had that bird and I've always heard nothing but good things about it, your shots show it off well (I'm surprised how great it looks given the era, man it must have really been ahead of it's time back in the day) :)
jeh
I too love that Cheyenne, do not have a clue where my copy is though. Nice pics! Cheese War Enthusiast.

scottb613
Morn'n Folks, LOL - thanks for all the comments on this old bird - really wasn't expected... As stated - it probably is my favorite plane of all time in MSFS... It was extremely well done and looks on par - if not better than many products released today... What you can't see - and - what is so so important to me is the FDE - as it just feels real when flying it... I know the Real Air Duke gets all kinds of raves today - seems as if it would be chosen by many as best MSFS plane - and I'm a huge fan of their work - just haven't gotten around to trying it yet - it's on my list... The original Trimble GPS was a PITA and had a few issues - when in FS9 I pulled out the Trimble and installed the RXP GNS - in P3D I have to use the GTN as the RXP unit will not work... It's still a work in progress as I have almost all the functionality working - it will fly WAAS GPS approaches with the exception that I can't seem to get the autopilot to capture the glide slope when on a LPV approach - not a huge deal as I can fly the LPV approach by hand after disconnecting the autopilot... Other than that the implementation seems to do well and makes it much more enjoyable than the Trimble - if anyone wants to try a GTN install I can provide some info on what I've found... I'm not done working on it yet... You could fit the GTN750 in the radar spot if you want to lose the radar - there is an option to blank the 3D nobs - the radar is actually functional so I definitely wanted to keep it - hence my use of the 650... LOL - Adam - as nice as your shots are and as much interest as they generate - vendors should pay you for marketing their products for them... wolf2
whoa. that is perhaps the most gorgeous shot of that digital aviation piper Cheyenne I ever saw. truly frameable! Phil Colvin
scottb613
Dang Phil - I'm blushing - thanks... Been playing around with Shade and Master Effect - they add a lot of pop to the default P3D display and seem to give me better results than I could get in FS9 with ENB... As a recent convert from FS9 - the plane looks way better as well in P3D... Regards, Scott Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
omega7
The must elegant and gorgeous bird in my opinion, Simply AWESOME along with the shots, good showing Scott:cool::cool: Gonzalo [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
scottb613
Thanks Gonzalo - yeah - wouldn't mind seeing a PA-42 some day - but - with that massive ungainly tail - it wouldn't look as elegant as this bird... For me - the PA-31T just captures the look of the quintessential twin turbo-prop... Thanks for your comments...
