VFR_Steve
I feel your pain, reinstalling a flight sim is such a huge task these days! I've got to say FS2004 is still looking stunning in your shots.
HardCub
:D:D Thank you Thank you Thank you so much everyone for the nice comments on my FS9. It so brings me so much joy to fly it! ~Glenn Clayton, FS9 EVO (Evolution) is an awesome complete texture replacement package for FS9, and includes a new Autogen file too. I absolutely love it, and cannot imagine my sim without it. You can get it from Sascha66. You can learn more here. Here's a link showing the beautiful FS9 EVO textures and the REX textures. https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?283683-Cutting-the-October-skies-above-Hickory-NC-with-the-Piper-Arrow-IV REX FS2004 + OverDrive HD is fantastic and worth every penny. A must-have if you want the very best clouds and sky textures. I use mine ONLY for the textures. Not a huge fan of the REX weather engine because of the way the weather updates in the sim using it. I use ActiveSkyEvolution (ASE) payware weather engine - no textures/ reason why REX is needed. FULL featured and intense. FSrealWX PRO is also an excellent weather engine... THE fastest loading engine ever! It is only the engine though. It is freeware. Not as heavily featured as ASE, but still a solid performer in every aspect! Here is a link showing the FSrealWX PRO in action, using REX textures installed. https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?283709-FSRealWX-_-The-Fastest-Weather-Engine 2021 Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming laptop.
