I've tried most flight sims out there and FSX is my favourite..:)

If you look down the 'Viewing' figures for Flightsim.com you'll see the FSX forum always has more people in there than any other, which shows how popular it is-

does anyone know of some good flight simulators

Actually yes,

If you know anyone who works at UPS, FedEx, etc. they have some excellent flight simulators. Unfortunately they're too big for most of my friends' homes.

Although I have "flown" a UPS simulator at KSDF, I'm usually relegated to FSX.

Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

Hello Liu,

If you are asking about a desktop sim, you have Microsoft FS2004, Microsoft FSX and FSX-Steam Edition, and Lockheed Martin P3D to look into. My personal preference is FSX DX10 after using each of the previous sims.

If you are asking about a Real World flight simulator, there is Flight Safey International and Simuflite as the primary training facilities. With a phone call, they might allow you to come in for a tour and flight introduction depending on their workload.

The same applies with major airline carriers and corporations that have their own training facilities in-house.

Cheers,

Jim

I just turned on MS Flight for the first time in a year. DAMN IT STILL LOOKS AWESOME!! FSX LOOKS like garbage with all it's autogen pop up and moving landmasses. P3D ain't much better. I can't believe how many people turned their noses up when MS Flight came out. It got me started in Flight sims.. I bet I spent 100 bucks on MS Flight and it looks 10 times better than the 6 or 7 hundred I have spent on FSX. I sure hope Dovetail uses the Flight machine in their next FS, If it looks as good as Microsoft Flight and has just a little more content than MS Flight I will flush my hard drives of FSX and P3D in a second.
