Spag-oz
Recently I was watching a video of a Lufthansa A-380 Airbus flight deck during a landing at KSFO and was curious to observe the presence of a hockey stick in the Nav Display whilst the a/c was in descent phase at a height of 7600'. Now I am aware this symbol is an indication of TC/TD but wouldn't expect to see it at that height. Am I missing something here? I would assume the A/c would have commenced descent at FL300 +. What does the hockey stick at that point represent? Screen shot attached.
