We were originally from Attleboro, MA, and my father was a jewler by trade. Just after the end of the war, Dad and a partner went off on their own, and opened a factory in Rhode Island. It wasn't too long before the commute got to him and we moved to PVD. First house was on Power Street, but that house proved too small, so we moved up to the top of the hill at 76 Prospect Street. I wnt to Moses Brown, but it didn't agree with me, so off to Tabor Academy I went, sister went to Wheeler. Later on, afterr college, parents moved to Brown Street, ac ross from the big Pembroke dorms (loved the fire drills at night). Anyway, I never lived in that house , I was off to the military and then my first job in Florida, where I met my wife, and I never looked back. I know Moses Brown KC, so I do know the name but never went to the school - by it probably - I know I have - but that's good to sometimes spread your wings and travel a bit. I like my state, even if I ever win really big in Powerball, maybe I'd be buy a nice big house on Block Island so it's quiet and then live out there.
