Saitek Flight Pro First Flight Bundle for a Beginner? Please Advise

I am new here and this is my first post.

My son is an extremely mature and technology oriented 13 year old.

I want to get him less a toy and more something that will serve as a foundation to inspire him to follow a career in flight in military or civilian, piloted craft or drones.

I am very limited financially but I am trying to support him in every possible way and was hoping that some of the resident gurus here could offer sound advise.

I was thinking of this as potentially his first SIM system:
