Hey! i have been looking around but found no really good luftwaffe planes or how i call them luftwaffle, and i wanted to know if any of you found any good luftwaffle planes. my suggestion is kinda hard but i want a good virtual cockpit with some detail on it, if possible, like the just flight P-38 which looks awesome, i want more fighters than bombers but dive bombers are also accepted, heavy fighters are also ok. thanks! :pilot:

A2A have the HE-219 "Uhu" in their 'Aircraft Factory' - line, which is pretty good. It is no AccuSim marvel, but I like her. Good visuals and good performace (plane and FPS :) )

I've got this freeware FSX Junkers 52-

..and this freeware Fieseler Storch (it also comes in Luftwaffe colours)..

A good way of searching is to simply type "FSX xxx" (where "xxx" is the name of the aircraft you want) into the Google search box and usually something comes up.

Don't pay for anything until you've tried the freeware stuff.

You can also type "FS2004 xxx" or "FS9 xxx" because a lot of FS2004 planes work in FSX.

PS- some nice Luftwaffe pics here to help modellers-

Just do a google search as follows for the following

Me 109 for FSX

Fw 190 for FSX

Me 262 for FSX

The Me 262 was the world's very first jet fighter.

They were the 3 main fighters .

I also have the Arado 234 again the world's first jet bomber.

All the above were operational with the German Air Force in WWII.

Cheers

Karol

Also the Stuka is really well worth having it's a neat dive bomber.

You don't have to go far to find some great Luftwaffe freeware, the following files are all found right here on the Flightsim site. Just use the Search feature in the File Library. (The FS2004 versions are ones I had previously downloaded and saved):

FSX:

focke_wulf_fw-189.zip (file name does not have "fsx_" in front of it)

fsx_arado_e555_1.zip

fsx_ju83_stuka_updated.zip

fsx_ju_ground_attacker.zip

fsx_junkers_ju90_updated.zip

fsx_me262_hg3_donnervogel_update.zip

fsx_messerschmitt_me209.zip

fsx_msserschmittbf110e_newvc.zip (file name is misspelled but it is found spelled exactly like that)

FS2004/FSX:

dornierdo17m_p.zip

dornier_bomber_green_cockpit_lighting_2004_fsx.zip (modification for dornierdo17m_p.zip)

focke-wulf_ta152c.zip

fw190d_dora.zip

heinkel280-photopanelupgrade.zip

henschel_hs126.zip

me-209fs.zip

me262nf.zip

me262-nighthunter-features.zip (for use with me262nf.zip)

me262special.zip

FS2004:

alphe162.zip

fi156_fs.zip

ju87b01.zip

ju87-b_s.zip

junkersju-160.zip

junkr522.zip

Also, don't limit yourself to searching only by aircraft model or manufacturer, search by names also such as Kazunori Ito, Tim Conrad, J R Lucariny, Michael Pook, Ruben Brissac, Ralf Kreibich, Oliver Fischer.. . they have graciously created or updated some of the above-listed files and more. Other names are out there, just don't have them all. You might be surprised what goodies you might find.

Hope this helped.

thanks for all replies but, most of these are payware and i forgot to mention i wanted freeware sorry!

The one really good payware might beat dozens of so-so planes and many hours finding and fiddling into life the freeware offerings (until you find the gems). Matter of opinion and/or taste though.

How we use the sim and how much we want to spend is our personal business, of course. But just to put things in perspective, the A2A Me109 costs $18.99. Depending on one's perspective, that might be way too much, or it might be cheap.
