addie_breadstick
Hey guys, just a quick one: I have just downloaded some AFCAD/scenery for EHAM (freeware) from Flightsim.com, of course... Just loaded up a flight and as im nearing EHAM im taking a look at the METAR etc and programming the GPS for my approach on to runway 24 (GPS->PROC->Select Approach?->Approach List) and to my surprise, half of the list is missing. Instead i have someting that looks like this: VORDME VORDME09 VORDME24 VORDME27 ILS ILS ILS06 ILS ILS22 ILS27 NDBDME NDBDME06 NDBDME As you can see, the GPS list is rather empty and i have the ILS options but it doesnt tell me what runway the ILS is for! Does anyone have any insight as to what this it? Can i fix it? Im guessing it is to do with the new scenery, but i havent a clue! Please help :) thanks in advance. -A. :)
chris34
My guess is that the issue lies in the AFCAD file, in the approaches. Try opening it in a program like Airport Design Editor and from the top menu select Lists > Approaches. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
CRJ_simpilot
ADE will allow you to modify and add approach, but it has a learning curve. I'm still trying to learn it. I have used a free tool here in the library that adds approachs. But I can't remember the name of it and I'm not on my desktop right now. Just found a tutorial in the library. File name: ils_tutorial.zip Here is the ILS/GPS approach creater I think I have. File name: ilsgps11.zip OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk? An awesome weather website with oodles of Info. and options. Wile E. Coyote would be impressed.
