How do I save scenery in the object placement tool

Hi hornet,

Here's a simple way.

After you've created the XML file create a new folder and put the file in it.

Copy both “BglComp.exe” and “bglcomp.xsd” to the new folder.

Drag the XML file on to “BglComp.exe” and a BGL file will be created with the same name as the XML in the new folder.

Copy both “BglComp.exe” and “bglcomp.xsd” to the new folder.

That step isn't necessary, just drop the XML on bglcomp wherever it is, the result's the same (as long as you're not trying to output the .bgl to the Program Files (x86) folder under UAC protection).

Better yet, if you have a lot of compiling to do make a shortcut to bglcomp and move the shortcut into your Send to folder. Then you can just right click an XML anywhere on the system and Send to > Bglcomp.exe to output a .bgl.
