Stall warning too late

Hi all. First time on this site. I checked around a bit before doing a thread. A bit interesting site for sure. Well here is what I need to know. Is it possible to adjust when the stall warning come on in the aircraft. Seems no matter how hard I pull up on the yoke upon landing the screech just barly sounds. I want to know if it is possible to go into the, or a config file and change what FSX set this too. In older MSFS programs it was a bit easy to find and change settings but looking in the folders that hold MSFS X files I find nothing there I can use. Maybe someone here can help an old chap with this. Thanks all

Hello, Buff, and welcome! Always good having anther victim....errr....PERSON on the forums :D

Lust get into the aircraft's *.air file, Section 1101, there is a line in the first part of hte Section labeled (oddly enough) Stall Warning-Body AOA@Clm (deg) = XX.XXXXXXXX

Simply reduce the number (represented by the XX.XXXXXXX in my example) a little bit at a time, say 1.00° at a time, or less, save, load or reload and test. You can save a flight shortly before where you trigger the stall warning, or where you WANT it to trigger, then simply keep trying till it's juuuusssst right for you.

I am presuming you have AirEd.exe or something similar, of course, and are comfortable using it.

Hope all this helps out a teensey bit :)

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!
