Hey Aharon, happy to be with you again.
I'm back but I must build a new flight simulation configuration. Brain storming at home: FSX with all the old packages set aside for 10 years (but 32bits) or a new naked P3D 64 bits? I'm actually trying to run FSX on a new PC. Very interresting rendering...
    Have fun!

Hey Bill! I just built a new box and I'm still sorting it out but I think it was definitely worth the effort! I included the details in my signature in case they can be of help to anyone considering a new build. As it says there, I'm running right at 5GBS without any overclocking at all! I hate Windows 10 but that seems to be all newest chips and such run on. And obviously Windows 7 couldn't address all the memory and cores anyway.

As to the United nations plane. We had a couple of C117S which looked very similar parked at Bowman Field KLOU for several years. In fact, they may have looked even worse. Everyone knew they were free to whoever wanted to claim them.

However before they were ferried to KLOU they were found abandoned and apparently full to the gills with various types of dope. So no one really found them to be worth the risk to claim!

In fact I knew people, myself included, who were even scared to slow and and check them out closely for fear of being caught on security cameras!

Bill that C-117 looks more like a derelict seafaring vessel than a flying object. So weathered. Nice shots.

Michael, wow, a quantum leap in computer gear. Good on you mate! Do you still use the boxed version of FSX? my question is what is the impact of this new build on how FSX runs? I suspect even at 5 Gigahertz FSX stutters and hiccups. Did FSX run on Windows 10 without any problems? I tried intsalling it on my other rig, which is a Windows 10 machine but I couldn't. I had already bought a copy of SE and that installed without further ado. Would you please consider making a post -preferably with pictures- to share details and tips, even a rough idea about how much $$$ this has burdened your pocket? and also, the impact of this on each and every one of your simming platforms?

    Best wishes.
