Correction for Win7

Start->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer->Custom Views->Administrative Events. Should be able to handle it from there.

Thanks for the additional info, I created it with the perspective of Win8 :)

EDIT : I just checked on Windows 7, Events Viewer can be accessed from the steps I mentioned too...

The event name will be "Application Error". Since the language in your screenshot is not English, I guess that you are not at Custom Views but at Windows Logs.

One thing sure, custom viewer isn't available on win xp.

You have the latest drivers for your ATI Graphic Card. Revert to your old drivers and you should be fine. The new drivers are reason for the crashes you are experiencing.

And create a new thread for discussing your problem. Do not post your problem in the replies of this thread.

Once again...Please!

Everyone, leave this thread strictly to posting crash fixes and links to them.

Such as:

From what we have seen recently, the AMD v13.9 driver package is causing FSX crashes.

If you have that driver package, remove it via the instuctions here: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/GPU57RemoveOldGraphicsDrivers.aspx

The v13.4 is the latest driver package that is known to work. Top of the page: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/previous?os=Windows%207%20-%2064

No questions.

Otherwise, I'll be compelled to lock it...Don

I am a new user to FSX, and I had this same issue on a brand new built machine. I am running Windows 7, and every menu item in game would cause crashes, and so forth an so on. I finally found a fix out there in the good ole web.. I will post link, and you can try it for yourself, if you think it will cure your ills... I followed the directions with replacing the dll file in the game folder, and so far, so good... no crashing... I have pulled off some several hour flights, and it has yet to crash again..
