Typographical error: the correct name is dll.xml

This file is found in this folder:
    ..\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\dll.xml

Thanks for your help I found the XML file but it is already configured with the JB Panel ?? I added the little extra as supplied.
Before this though I found my way in to the SimConnect.dll as mentioned previously, the version is correct but something went wrong there because when I open the aircraft now I get this message on the PFD. Error loading B777 serv.dll Check SimConnect.dll version 10.0.61259.0 etc. Check MSVCR90.dll R:0.000 ??

Sorry to dig things up but I'm having the basic same problem...

    Before I did anything:

After I added the entry by n4gix in post #4 of this thread:

    And the result:

As you can see, My "Addons" tab, previously containing my FSUPIC and FSInn junk has disappeared, probabbly from the dll.xml edit, and I still cannot use the scratchpad on the FMC nor move any data around in it. (Although I can switch pages from one to another) In case you would ask, I do have Acceration installed on top of a clean FSX and I have the "jb777_fmc.dll" with the "jb777loader.dll" in my Modules\FSX Folder, the entire package I downloaded is here:

Any ideas? Once again sorry for digging up this old thread, but I'd rather not start a new one

My advise: Download a POSKY 777 first, get it working. Go to AVSIM. Download the original upload of JB Panels and install it manually. Aircrafts which have it pre-included mostly miss some files.

    The line...

    </SimBase.Document>

needs to be at the end of the file.

ryan555 - I think 'the bean' has it, I got no further advice after n4gix posted but after I found the .dll I followed the instructions very carefully and got the result. Well worth it! Slow down check the entry and make sure it's all in the right order.

Just to clarify: Don't add another </SimBase.Document> line...Worms!
"Cut" the existing one, and, "Paste" it at the end...Don

The problem stems from the fact that there are many B777 REPAINT packages available for download which contain not only the repaint textures but also all the other files for the complete aircraft. The included readme only advises the user to copy the 'aircraft' folder to fsx/simobjects/aircraft and the files on the Modules folder to the FSX/modules folder. They do NOT give the instructions for modifying the dll.xml file.
It is a real trap for the unwary.
I don't know why people release repaint packages which include all the other files for the aircraft especially when they don't include any special installation instructions. Very annoying.
