    Default Very Very Very Very Old American Airlines Plane

    Shalom and greetings all my pals,

    Here is very very very very old plane's flight from MKJP Norman Manley International Airport located on the Palisadoes tombolo in outer Kingston Harbour in Kingston, Jamaica to MDSD Las Américas International Airport located in Punta Caucedo near Santo Domingo in Dominican Republic.

    Taxiing on MKJP taxiway A to short of runway 12







    Engines roaring with black smoke as the plane entered into MKJP runway 12 for take off



    On climb to FL350 with background view of Norman Manley Highway running through the stripe



    Making left turn adjustment toward SASON during the climb



    Still climbing at the rate of 1,500 to 2,000 feet per minute to FL350



    Leaving Jamaica during the climb



    Gorgeous water during the climb

    Why American did away with the polished aluminum and tri color livery is beyond me.

    That look is pure CLASS and you've captured it quite well.

    American have done away with polished metal beacuse the new aircraft on order are either pre treated with anti corrosion primers or plastic. Recently a combination of both.

    How many polished areas on any livery do you see nowadays.??

    The newer aircraft simply can't wear the old outdated livery

    That's why there should be an international law against that! PAH! Back to the days of DC's and other birds with props! Yes!
