Thread: P-39 Prototype

    Default P-39 Prototype

Here are the first shots of a P-39 that I am working on. It is currently still a work in progress. I am working on the VC at the moment. It will only be for FSX SP2/Acceleration.

Zero Visibility? Not an issue when you fly with the RNZAF. Our 757s are specially modified for cargo and acrobatics.

It's only colourful because I haven't got around to texturing most of it.

    UPDATE.

It now has a mostly functional VC, and no 2D panels. But I've hit a snag.
For some reason, the normals on the exterior are inverted. I will put up more shots at a later date (hopefully sometime today).

Do not use the "Mirror" button on the top toolbar. Use only the "Mirror" modifier to avoid the negative normals issue.

    1. Mirror Button: flips mesh polygons and inverts the normals (makes them negative)
    2. Mirror Modifier: flips mesh polygons only, leaves the normals - well - "normal!"
