Thread: Carenado Beech King Air C90

Default Carenado Beech King Air C90

Have just got this aircraft and like it very much. However it's a bit more complicated than I am normally use to , and I would have really liked a tutorial to come with it. Unfortunately there is no .pdf User Guide for all the Aircrafts switches and functions.
There is for the GPS and Avidyne, EFIS and various check lists and references but nothing else. At the moment am flying by Trial and Error.!
Particularly having trouble with the fuel system. I can't figure out how to make it so that both engines feed from all tanks. Or how I can change tanks for the engines to feed from a different tank. It appears that at the moment all engines take from the left tank only, - leaving the plane very lopsided when flying.
Have tried to look for user guide/tutorial on Carenado's site and Flightsim.com but haven't been able to find one. Maybe looking in the wrong place.
If anyone has any info on the above would much appreciate it.
    Cheers
    Ted

    Dear All,
I also have the same problem with the fuel imbalance, as it uses only the left tank. I downloaded the PDF manual which is very helpful on procedures, but still does not show how to behave on a situation like this... any ideas, (for those ho had the problem solved?)
    Thanks

East, start with a default flight that has a default plane with a `both` tanks option - the 172 is perfect. Then switch to the Carenado. move to the airfield of choice, save in the condition you prefer and you have both tanks enabled.

OK thanks for the tip. I did that earlier this week and worked. But if I load the saved flight goes wrong again. I just figured that some different procedure could be known...
Guess I'll do just what you said...
