Thread: What all aircraft has everyone flown in? (Real Life)

  1. Default

    Boeing 737 (US Airways/Hawaiian)
    Boeing 767 (Continental)
    Airbus 319 (US Airways)
    Airbus 320 (US Airways)
    Airbus 321 (US Airways)
    Airbus 330 (US Airways)
    Embraer 175 (US Airways Express)
    CRJ-200 (US Airways Express)
    CRJ-700 (US Airways Express/Continental Express)
    CRJ-900 (US Airways Express)
    Dash 8 (US Airways Express)

I think that is it, but I may be missing one of two.

I've flown on every plane on US Airways fleet (I fly standby) except for the 757 and 767 (though I flew on a Continental 767 en route to Hawaii back in 2002). This is ironic considering my dad flies 757/767s for US Airways out of KCLT...

    My 'list'?

Kind sir, I am double type-rated for everything on that list. I was Captain of STS-137 and STS-138.

Mine looks pretty unimpressive but then I am 14.

    Airbus:
    A300 Qatar
    A319 easyJet BA
    A320 BA JetStar AirAsia
    A330-200 Qatar EK

    ATR:
    72-500 MASwings

    Boeing:
    737-300/-400 Malaysia BA(possibly) KLM
    747-400/COMBI KLM
    777-200/-300 EK

    Fokker:
    50 KLM
    70 KLM
    100 KLM

According to parents (before memory): LH A340 and (logically) an LH 737/A320 (positioning to FRA)
Some memory of a flight from Penang to SIN on a MAS plane, I seem to remember rear-engined but they don't seem to have ever had any rear-engined short haul jets

Never flown a plane myself but hope to soon!

Ah yes, they dominate all my early long-haul memories, they were the only planes I flew (apart form KLM cityHopper) on for a period of about 8 years

I've got a few type ratings. How do you get "double" typed ?!?!

I show the last Shuttle Mission as being Number 135 in July last year. Never heard of "Captains" on the Shuttles, only Commanders, Pilots, Mission Specialists, and Payload Specialists.

According to wikipedia, STS-137 & 138 were scheduled ages ago for 2007 but cancelled due to the Challenger accident before crew could be placed
Also, are you being testy, I'm pretty sure tigisfat was joking since his initial post included a bullet and aladdin's carpet. With his planes, he flew an A-12 and SR-71 but no props

I have flown the Piper Tomahawk. That is the extent of my flying experience.
