Default France VFR Products and UTX, GEX

    Hi all,

Just a quick question before spending some money.

I already have Ultimate Terrain X Europe and GEX Europe. If I want to install some of the very nice sceneries from France VFR on top of that, I am looking for trouble?

    Thanks in advance!

no you be fine, UTX add land class, GEX replaces the default textures, your Payware scenery will overwrite

i had VFR manchester airport, then Manchester Xtreme, then MANTEX they just kept overwriting each other

Read some reviews, and the airport sceneries seem to work OK with UTX and REX (for example : http://www.simflight.com/2010/08/rev...-lfst-for-fsx/ )
But I suppose their photosceneries (different packages !) will just come on top of UTX/REX, making the latter useless/inactive at those locations.

Thanks guys! That is what I thought. It would be nice to be able to keep at least the roads from UTX on top of the photosceneries to keep the moving road traffic alive.

I will give it a try and post the info here.

Just a quick update for those who are interested.

France VFR products work very well with UTX. No conflict or problem detected so far. The France VFR scenery is simply added on top of UTX and you get to keep the UTX road traffic (the UTX roads dissapear, but since there is a photoreal scenery, cars and trucks are still exactly where they belong, very neat!).
